Our customers are continually seeking more ways to reduce their carbon footprint.
We do as much as we can - such as, we only buy new machines that are compliant with the most recent emission regulations. Also, our renewal policy ensures that our machines are less likely to break down, spill oil etc. than older machines.
We have also consulted the Carbon Trust to explore ways we as a business can reduce our effect on the environment.

Bio-degradable Hydraulic Oil

We can convert our machines to use Bio Oil at our customers request, this is need in sensitive sites such as Environment Agency works, harbour or sea defence.
All machinery that has Bio Oil will be clearly labelled.

Delivery Vehicle Emissions

We also ensure that our fleet of delivery lorries are regularly replaced, and now all vehicles comply with the Euro IV emission standards.
All our fleet is serviced by the manufacturers, thus keeping pace with the latest servicing techniques.
And with all our locations are close to major arterial routes, our impact on the environment is reduced.

Recycling

A recycling policy is now in place where we try to recycle as much of our waste as possible.
This includes everything from paper in the office, to oil and materials in the workshop.
We have set ourselves a target to reduce waste by 60% by 2011 through raising staff awareness and putting facilities in place to recycle more.
