MeckLock - Hydraulic Immobiliser

We have recognised the growing problem of plant theft as a major factor to our customers.
This has led us to place the largest single order for an anti-theft system in Europe with Mecklock.
Mecklock can be installed on any size machine and is just as effective on a £10,000 mini-digger as it is on a £50,000 Telehandler.

How MeckLock Works

Mecklock is a device that completely isolates a chosen hydraulic circuit, be it the 'digging arm' and tracks on an excavator, or the steering on a telehandler.
It is much more effective than any electronic system as MeckLock creates a physical barrier for the hydraulic systems, rendering the piece of equipment useless without a key.

Preventing Theft

Since first using MeckLock in 2005, we have experienced a dramatic reduction in plant theft.
There has been a 60% decrease in stolen machinery since 2005, which equates to a total of over £400k.

Satelitte tracking

All Tier 3 machines from Komatsu and Hitachi now have satellite monitoring systems installed as standard.
As well as remotely monitoring the machine's performance, we can also trace it's every move allowing us to pin-point it's position should it get stolen.
